This was a little something that just came to mind, I guess a music drabble is one way of putting it, so just ignore this unless you’d like to read it.
In short, I wanted to consider this music piece as Asia’s Theme, because I feel it captures them very well of their honor, their pride of their country; and the music echoes their large history and the obstacles that they’ve faced through hundreds of years.
But what really puts a spin for me is, imagining what it would’ve been like if Asia (mainly the most well known nations: China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, S. Korea), were in combat with each other than the other foreign nations. When I started listening to this piece, I began imagining them wearing their country’s traditional garb, or what they typically wear in the Hetalia anime/manga (hence the photo at the top); but they are also armed with a weapon. Their weapon of choice is as follows:
China - Guan Dao
Japan - Katana
Hong Kong - Nunchaku
Taiwan - Atayal sword (long)
S. Korea - Danwoldo
The environment that was set for them as I listened to this was a bamboo field (lol been watching House of the Flying Daggers way too much), with a large empty field at its center. The starting of the music began with China training with his weapon, performing its techniques while also using his flexibility to better his combat skills.
Until at one point, Japan enters with his own weapon, and both of them would go into their stance to begin sparring with one another, until Hong Kong, Taiwan, and S. Korea also began to enter the field (around when the music began to swell in volume with the horns); which this has resulted in the five of them sparring against one another, against who, it doesn’t matter as they are fighting for themselves and not for each other.
Pretty much, I was thinking of what it would’ve been like if they haven’t regarded each other as family, but more as allies/opponents. I wanted to sort of tap into their serious and/or darker sides of themselves when they enter a war or battle with each other, and this was brought up.

((FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS THISSSSSSSS *fistpump* hah I can total see this… I still think it would end up where Taiwan switched sides from China Team to Japanese… but thats just me and all the hong kong action movies.
